Casual reading counts
To read or not to read.. there’s no question here, you must read.
Of course reading has taken on many forms over the last decade or so.
Some watch instead of read.. others listen and quite a few still actually do read as in the conventional way.
I believe that it’s about what you comprehend and learn, understand and apply.. not the how.
You can’t go around demanding that people must read books when all their life they’ve consumed knowledge over WiFi.
Bottom line: reading is a must, yes I agree and it does widen the knowledge gap between people, but the options are many.
Some prefer soft copy books others will opt for ebooks for the convenience. Some will read fast paced articles, others demand hard core professional long form ones.
YouTube has changed the game, so has medium and book summaries for that matter. Now you can cram four to ten books in one hour or indulge in twenty or forty pages in the same hour, your life, your way and choice.
Never let the general forces of conventional ways stop you from reading.. never let the original way of reading stop you from reading, you must read:
in your own unique way.
