Faces and places

Give it time and the faces will fade and places will be remembered as if they were a dream.

It’s only human nature for people to move.

They come and go, just like that. The time between the two depends on how powerful the need and pull was.

For example lovers tend to last longer, then linger a bit then go.

Fellow employees end their contract with you the moment you leave.

Friends vary from the oldest to the latest, some of the old ones will last a lifetime, the new ones rarely do.

Business ones end on a contractional basis.

Social media ones make me laugh, there’s no real substance between them.

Between every 100 friends you make on social, 99 are faking it.

That one that’s left is questionable.. time will reveal their intentions and length of stay.

I’m not complaining, simply explaining to the young at heart and age.. it’s a reality you will refuse to accept until it starts to unfold for you in your life.

So what do I do you ask?

I honestly enjoy the moment, whoever’s around is more than welcome…until they fuck up or reveal a side of them that disgusts me.

I’m slower in getting to know people nowadays and letting them in my life, but much faster in releasing them from my life.

There comes a time when time is all you have, it’s always been that way, but you realize it late in life.

So why bother yourself being around faces and places that you’re not comfortable around or at?

Keep on moving, living and loving.
